Three fields. About four minutes of work in your own Shopify admin, and then the Scan runs on your real orders.

Creating the read-only key

  1. 01

    Open Develop apps

    In your Shopify admin: Settings, then Apps and sales channels, then Develop apps. Press Create an app and name it LeakLens.

  2. 02

    Tick five read scopes

    Configuration, then Admin API integration, Configure. Tick read_orders, read_all_orders, read_products, read_customers, read_discounts. Save. Without read_all_orders Shopify only lets us see your last 60 days.

  3. 03

    Install and reveal the token

    API credentials, then Install app. Press Reveal token once and copy the Admin API access token. It starts with shpat_.

  4. 04

    Paste it here

    We read with it and never store it. You can revoke it in that same screen whenever you want.

These five scopes can read. None of them can write to your store, change a price, or reach your customers.
